From Coding By Hand To Web Builders
From coding HTML via Notepad to taking the easy route and focusing specifically on content, I reflect upon how I got here.
Once upon a time, I had no problem doing CSS or HTML in Windows Notepad. As basic and irritating as that was, it was how I learned to do it so many years earlier, and so old habits die hard. The problem with traditional web hosting these days, though, is that I just don't have the time to code an entire website, deploy it onto a server, . . .
Don't Care For Money
I don't care for money, it's not something that I absolutely need to be happy, nor is it something I am willing to kill myself to have.
I'm not like every other human; I don't care about being cool, having friends, status, or society in general. I don't care what you do, who you are, or why you do something, as none of that is my business.
Much to the chagrin of my parents, I have never cared about money; it's not something that motivates me in life. I have zero desire . . .
Hebonfield
Project Hebonfield is finally heading for public consumption!
Well, it's official: Project Hebonfield now has a web host; it looks like I'm actually going to get it online finally after years of procrastination. If you have followed me over to Silvrback from past iterations, you will know how much of a stickler I am for traditional websites.
In the modern era, from 2010 onward, I have used . . .
Cyborg Or Trojan Horse?
Does implantation of a computer chip inside a human classify as a Cyborg? More importantly, what happens when said Human gets hijacked by bad actors... This and my opinion on Elon Musk's Neuralink when you read more.
Can a simple chip embedded into a human brain even qualify as a cyborg? When I think of cyborgs, the first name that comes to mind is Neil Harbisson; however, I personally don't consider him a cyborg. Just as I don't consider those with biochips and cybernetic implants to be cyborgs,
In my opinion, a cyborg is half machine and . . .
Parallel Worlds
Brief entry about the state of the world at the moment Re: Parallel Worlds.
Are we interacting with parallel worlds every day in our daily travels and just not the wiser? Would we even recognize the difference between our world and what could be a similar but vastly different world at its core?
I'm pretty sure almost everyone would take notice if they were walking down a suburban sidewalk only to turn a corner . . .
My Thoughts On Artificial Intelligence
Some quick thoughts on the fly.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is seemingly everywhere these days, from mediums such as books, games, and movies to real-world applications in our homes, grocery stores, and places of employment. Thanks to the internet, AI is rapidly sweeping the world and, as a result, making humans obsolete. The people championing this apocalyptic disaster . . .
New Experiments & Projects Inbound
Spring is here, Summer is right around the corner and new projects are ramping up!
Spring is here, which means that it's that time of year when I start engaging in scientific experiments again. I have a handful of projects in mind for this year, a lot of which are cutting-edge. Last year saw me getting back to my roots, analyzing data, exploring, playing with chemical reactions, and building all kinds of fun toys like . . .
